JUNE TRIPS

I just realized I never recorded the historic month of June 2010.
I only posted 1/3 of it so far. Before Lake Powell there was Disneyland with the Browns. After Lake Powell was a fabulous trip to Oregon/Northern California/Nevada.

Here are the pictures!
This was my favorite pic of the trip.
They had closed off part of the park for fireworks, so we went up to the roped off area and asked an employee to take a picture. Magical, eh?

The whole trip was made possible by these two wonderful people. THANK YOU TIMES A MILLION.
These three daredevils were great ride companions.
Chicken legs and corn on the cob. Delicious.
Ahh yeah, go Frandsens.
I sure love these little ladies.
Amari took Universal Studios by storm.

NEXT UP: Oregon.

A beautiful waterfall that Paul went to before I got there.
The Oregon coast
While long-haired Paul pinned bugs in the hotel room...
I took pictures of my chaco tan lines.
Tree huggers at the Redwood forest
HUGE trees
Pacific Ocean (which is weird because now we are on the other side of the country hangin' at the Atlantic Ocean).
And the reason for it all...
INSECT COLLECTING.
This was a great find, Raphidiidae, I called it the dinosaur fly because of it's long neck.

Jerseylicious

Before we moved to New Jersey- I randomly watched this show called "Jerseylicious" to see what we were getting into.

Paul turned it on this morning to entertain me, so I checked to see how far we are from the salon where the show is...
8 miles.

I think I might go get my hair cut!
...(JK, Paul would never let me go there).

NJ

We made it.
We live in New Jersey now.

We drove through Utah, Colorado, Kansas, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, West Virginia (barely), Pennsylvania and finally the NJ.

My favorite part of the drive was Indianapolis. I got to see LUCAS OIL Stadium with my own eyes, then went to the nearest store and got myself a Peyton Manning Jersey. This Colt's season will be a good one with this baby on!

We arrived yesterday- and our moving truck isn't here yet, so we spent the first night on the floor in sleeping bags. It was fun.

Here are some pictures of our currently empty apartment.

The front room/entry way/ dining area

The front room and Paul talking on the phone to cousin Kurt.
 The front room
The kitchen, and the only bit color in the apartment, the lovely yellow cabinets :)
 The kitchen storage area
The view from our front room window (I didn't want to go outside in the rain to get a pic of the outside, so this gives you an idea).
 The stairs
 The bathroom
 The 2nd bedroom
 The bedroom

I think it will be real nice, and as you noticed there is a second bedroom, so we have lots of room for visitors! :)

I miss my family already, but Paul and I are both excited about this new adventure. The ward seems super nice, which will help the loneliness. I'm just glad to have my best friend here with me. :)

We're on our way to New Jersey.
Wish us luck!
