More Jeff and Demi fun. The Goates stayed with us until Sunday night, and upon their departure we enjoyed the prettiest double rainbow (which I couldn't get all in one shot, and I haven't taken the time to piece in photoshop... you get the idea).
They will not align for the life of me.
And this picture is so weird so just laugh at it instead of think we are serious.
But this one is just magical.
Phillies game!
I made Demi give our gas pumper the instructions on filling up that tank because that's how we do it in Jerssss.
Jeff got all Diva on us on the way to Boston.
And we arrived in Boston just in time to save Paul from being a diva by getting that man a pepper covered sausage from...
Fenway Park! (Pahk)
See? So happy.
Signing the post that everyone signs that Demi needs to remind me of the name of it again.
A Fenway Frank!
Then... the next day we explored that Boston town! Jeff and Dem Dem were touring Fenway so Paul and I explored Harvard Square, but first enjoyed the Charles.
And this guy.
We stopped in at the Curious George store and Paul found his favorite book (which we added to our book collection).
Then we met up with the nicest Megan Sollis who took us to Pinocchio's for some Pizza. Why did I not get a picture of her? I do not know. Luckily I went back to Boston this past weekend and got plenty so just stay tuned...
Then we waited for Jeff and Demi, then a thunderstorm hit and we stayed under this large bridge while we watied for it to pass. Except, Jeff and Paul got impatient and ran to CVS to buy umbrellas, which of course caused the rain to stop right when they walked out the doors.
So we headed to the USS CONSTITUTION.
Then found the Freedom Trail and scurried along.
Until it poured again. Really really poured, but happily we were inside this time, and just got to watch out these big windows as people got soaked.
Just bad timing!
Once it cleared up, we rented some bikes from Boston's great bikeshare program, and as we were riding down a street, I spotted this guy out of the corner of my eye, and because I'm a dedicated reader of Megan's blog I knew we needed to stop immediately.
Best best cannolis!
Then we enjoyed parts of the Freedom trail, and this sad tree.
Paul pulled out an ADD move and did a random wall sit.
The lesbian pride march came through town, and we waved and smiled and I didn't mind it at all.
We took a quick stop at Boston Public Gardens...
Then ate some Clam Chowdah!
Then walked back to the car and peaked in on the men's lacrosse team practicing at the Harvard Colosseum.
We loved Boston so much we decided to stay another night, and booked a random hotel in a random city called Hull. But the best news is that it was right on the ocean!
So I woke everyone up at 4 am and got to fulfill my East Coast dreams of a sunrise over the Atlantic.
Then, having bought new running gear since I didn't know we would be there on Saturday, I went for a 9 mile run. I needed new shoes desperately and I've realy
We basically just ran the whole peninsula, there and back. It was so soooo pretty. Ocean on both sides, and the prettiest little houses. I even took a pit stop at the Hull Public Library!
Paul, not really in running training, did almost all of the 9 miles with me (until he had to do a little car switch when Jeff and Demi ran with me - just tag teaming it). Not only did he run with me, he instagrammed it!
When I finished I had a beautiful view of the ocean and a balcony to stretch on.
We spent some time on the beach in Hull before heading home. I didn't get pictures so maybe DEMI will have to update her blog she created while she was here :)
The next day after Church we took them to see Queens campus - some of Rutgers oldest buildings.
Then we took Jeff and Demi to the airport and have missed them ever since.
