so excited.

One more final for me and two more projects for me.
Three finals more for Paul.

But who really cares because guess what tonight is...

THE BIGGEST LOSER FINALE!!!!!!!!!!

It's my first season being a fan. I love it. We do push ups and sit ups during commercials- so of course we aren't feeling lazy watching people on TV lose loads of weight.

I am so very excited.

getting closer

Last week of classes for the semester.
:)
Hurray!

Paul and I got to go to the First Presidency Christmas devotional last night.
It was really neat to be there and hear the prophet and his counselors speak.
The closing hymn, Silent Night, was especially beautiful to me.
It's starting to feel more like Christmas, except for the severe lack of snow.

New Link

THANKSGIVING was great. I'm grateful for a LONG break. I hated coming back to campus this morning- but it's okay- a few more weeks until an even longer and more wonderful break.

My grandma let me know that the link to my news stories wasn't working.
Here's another way to find my masterpieces :)

Go to:
http://newsnet.byu.edu/section.cfm/home

In the search box- Type my name

All my stories will appear :)

Good luck!

Also- we saw Twilight!
It was good- not as great as my imagination when I read the books, but oh well. Once I got over Edward's lipstick I thought he was okay looking- but I think Paul should have played the part :)

A house divided.

Although Paul hates to acknowledge it... I am a Utah fan.
So I'm a little nervous for this weekend, when our apartment will be full of boys in blue.
Paul said to Kurt:
"You can say as many bad things as you want about Utah, just don't say anything mean to Christine".

It's a tough day for me every year... I grew up a Utah fan, but going to BYU really does affect things. So does playing for a BYU team. So does having a husband who is a die-hard.

May the best (7th ranked) team win.

Lalala Life is Wonderful!

Since our internet at our house is incredibly slow, I decided to use my on-campus time while Paul studies with friends to give a little update on our life.

My birthday was Sunday. I LOVED the many phone calls of singing families and kind wishes. Paul was the nicest husband a birthday girl could have. He woke me up to breakfast in bed. Crepes (my favorite!) and his specialty scrambled eggs. Then he showered me with some great (suprise) gifts. I had some pretty crazy morning hair (as a warning)...

We went to church, and afterwards went up to my parents house in Murray. My family was all there and we had some delicious food! Jeff, Jason, Mindy, Amari, Zander and Drake came over later for cake and ice cream. Zander wrote the greatest card- They made my day.

Besides my birthday, Paul went to Zion's one weekend with his Mom, Camie and Jeff. I stayed in Provo for a required lacrosse breakfast. I realized how lucky I am to be married, and got pretty lonely over the weekend.

We've been VERY busy with school, work, football games, lacrosse, tests, family gatherings, etc etc etc! But we've been grateful lately to live in a little tiny apartment and just get to be together.

One goal I have: take more pictures. I don't know why I have been a slacker on that lately. I just need to charge the batteries in my camera! Oh, I do have some great pictures from a beautiful drive we took one Saturday afternoon.

This is a little shot of our apartment.

Here is our pumpkin we did for FHE (thanks for helping Mark)!

I'm heading to Colorado this weekend to play CSU and CU in some lacrosse games. Paul is headed up to Idaho Falls for one last weekend with Jeff. I'm going to try to make it up there on Sunday morning to hear Jeff speak.

Life is crazy, but it's wonderful too.

Welcome to Washington :)

Paul and I spent an AWESOME weekend in the beautiful state of Washington.
Paul served his mission here (his "back for one year" mark is next week).

A family that he helped to teach and baptize were sealed this weekend!!!
This is us with the Katende's They are so nice, and their girls are adorable.
They are wearing their sweet Ugandan clothes.

(Mt. Rainer from an airplane...
the plan is to hike it next summer)

I loved meeting all the neat people in Puyallup and Lacey. I can tell Paul was the bomb missionary because everyone just loves him so stinking much.

We also got the chance to spend an afternoon in Seattle,

This is us with the Puget Sound.

This was the Fish and Chips we ate on Pier 66.

This is the new rage in Sunglasses. Apparently.

Lots of Marajuana Pride going on down there.

We went to Pike Place- and the famous Fish Market
however, we didn't go to the SeaHawks pre-season game... Paul was way sad.

We stayed with the Roberts- they are so kind and generous! They have lots of fun, cute kids.
It was such a great weekend :) It was even SUNNY!

The Married Life

FIRST of all..
you MUST see
that I am the LUCKIEST new aunt.
http://imacraftartist.blogspot.com/
(and Marian- YOU are our sunshine!)
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!

So... the wedding did happen- i'm a married woman. :)
My photographer hasn't gotten our pictures back to us- that's why i've been holding out for a "married" post. but i decided that i'll just put those up when i get them.

This is us on the "skyride" at SeaWorld. we had SO much fun in San Diego-
we also went to Seaport village, the San Diego Zoo, the San Diego Temple, Pacific Beach (we love the initials PB) and even fit in some shopping.

It was so fun to get to spend all my time with Paul and not have to be on any kind of schedule, which is so different from normal life.

We just bought a NEW CAR on Saturday!!!!
And I was just about to run outside and take pictures of it... but Paul took it to work. Those will come later.

Our adventure for this weekend- flying to Washington (state). A family that Paul baptized is going through the temple! I'm very excited.

Lots of fun in our new married life. I have fun hanging out with Paul's mom and Ellie and Will and Abby during the day, and finding things to do. But I love 4 o'clock when Paul comes home. :)

It's been four months (officially on Thursday)
I'm sick sick sick of being engaged and living 224 miles from Paul.

So here's what we've been up to...
LAKE POWELL!!!

I went to Idaho Falls the last three weekends.
I wish I had pics from the 4th of July. It was SWEET.

Basically... I can't wait to finally be married to that wonderful man named Paul.

Engagement Pictures!

Yay! We shot our engagement pictures on Monday. It was stormy all day and I was TERRIFIED that we would have a downpour that night. Well- the lighting ended up perfect and it was just beautiful!

Our photographer posted them on her blog-

sorry for all the smoochy ones- I promise there are lots of smiling ones too :)
