I made a resolution a few months ago to take and post more pictures.
Paul had a month in Mongolia to get to know our camera, but I still have a lot of learning to do. Plus it is something I have always loved.
The problem is that I use one computer regularly, and my other very slow computer has
photoshop on it. At least that's my excuse. Plus, I feel like there is nothing to take pictures of. Which is just another lame excuse.
Needless to say, I haven't really taken any pictures. whoops. I'm thinking that if I write it down then I'll do it. This is me writing it down.
TAKE MORE PICTURES CHRISTINE!
I haven't failed completely. .
Thanksgiving weekend, Amari let me do a mohawk. And Zander got "spray gas" in his eye. (Hairspray- sorry Z).
Our house. I'm serious, we live in there. Haha. It's not so bad on the inside. And our porch looks pretty awesome covered in snow. Do you like the Christmas lights? Me too.
New Christmas tradition... my parents chest bumping on Christmas Eve. I love them :)
This is so cool. On Christmas morning, each of us got a little bag that had a clue in it. This led us on a treasure hunt... with really hard clues to find the next (ex: A dog is this when he barks low... answer: subwoofer.) Anyways, each new clue had a torn piece of a treasure map attached to it. When we had all found all of our clues (an hour and a half later), we had to figure out which pieces went to whose map (they were all mixed up), then pieced them together, then followed the map to our treasure. Paul and mine was attached on a string to a heater vent, hanging down into the vent. Crazy, eh? We got cool trinkets from Hawaii (my parents went on a cruise there the week before Christmas).
It was so cool. My parents are so thoughtful and creative. Seriously, click on the picture and look at the details! The maps were awesome, and included landmarks from Lord of the Rings, Princess Bride, and correlated with rooms in our house. Very creative.

(1) I start to cry every time I see a picture of Luke because I don't know him. Bad life decisions.
(2) I cannot believe how awesome your parents' Christmas hunt was
(3) nor how cool your apartment is. Seriously. I've always loved cool slanty rooms and low eaves (and my girls are crazy about them) and so close and SO CHEAP. Don't you dare feel apologetic. Total find.
It's still kind of a dream that Paul was here last week (crossing my fingers about other life decisions and the circumstances that bring them...).
love, V
That treasure hunt is pretty darn awesome! I can't imagine how long that must have taken them!
Who figured out the subwoofer clue? That person must be a genius.
