close to home.

I really like reading nienie- like I'm sure many of you do.

Today her post rang true in 2 BIG ways.

1- She used to live in East Brunswick, which is where our church is... super close.
2- She said New Jersey was "sometimes downright depressing". Ya- I feel that. For me, it's not about the time the sun sets (yet- because I really hate winter, but I don't want to think about that yet, and yesterday it actually was about the sun setting because I really wanted to take some pictures and I just hate flashes.) But it is a new place, I don't know many people, and it's just downright scary- and that can be depressing.

But today I have a little bit better perspective and a better attitude about my situation here. Paul reminded me yesterday that we are only a few weeks in and "we still have time to get roots in the ground."

Which can be the story of our new pillow that Paul picked out (maybe subconciously):BIRGIT Cushion white, multicolor Length: 16 " Width: 20 " Filling weight: 16 oz Total weight: 18 oz Length: 40 cm Width: 50 cm Filling weight: 450 g Total weight: 520 g

and 3- My grandma has a goose just like that and they are awesome.

Hang in there girl! It's hard when you first get somewhere and know nothing about it, and know no one! But you'll make friends-because you're a fun loving person! :) And you'll figure out all the weird roads they have and weather and everything else!! :) But if you ever need anything let me know! :)
