Last weekend we had a grand 'ole time with
Valerini and two of her kiddos: Marian and Reuben. Saturday was spent "girl timing" and Val introduced me to the wonders of H&M and Chick-Fillet sauce. Yum. We also got supplies for my "
board" which I'm hoping to finish today! (Are you excited to see what lyrics I chose!?) Paul got to watch the kids and became an expert at building trains with Reuben.
A few pics:
Playing trains, and watching Thomas. Reuben is tech-savvy and knows how to change the input, eject and insert DVDs and turn off and on anything he needs. Smart little train-lover.
Marian- right after she did my hair, a favorite past-time for the both of us. Her specialties are flip-ponytails and braids.
LOOK WHO VISITED ME IN NEW JERSEY! RICHARD J MARSH!
He was here on business with Wells Fargo and stopped by for our SuperBowl part-ay! Lucky me!
Also for your enjoyment. Marian was a little bit goofy before her bedtime, and she took a few videos.
First up: her rendition of the wise man and the foolish man. She sang it on the way home from church and I loved it, so I had her do it again.

And next: Marian's tour of our apartment. Funny things to watch/listen for: our convo about the Jimmer, our convo about Celeste... haha (Richard had just gotten a text from you C, that's why we were talking about you), awkward close up of food I spilled on myself... nice Christine, Paul's bikes and how they are the first thing you see when you walk in our place, and Marian's all-together goofiness: "Peace!" "Ba-Humbug" "I just did that random". It's all pretty hilarious to me. I'm not sure if it will be to you, but maybe Richard will appreciate it? Celeste might not, but maybe!
